De stijl van Bart laat zich het best beschrijven als abstract (neo)- expressionisme soms gecombineerd met elementen van modernisme. Bart schildert op een expressieve manier. Vaak staat een idee of kader centraal maar de invulling daarvan, hoe een schilderij wordt, komt daarna spontaan op. Dat geeft Bart de vrijheid om vanuit zichzelf te werken. Ontdekken wat leuk is om met veel plezier te maken. Ontdekken hoe je kunt verbeteren, opnieuw een vak mag leren. Zoeken naar vernieuwing en gaan waar je nog niet eerder bent geweest.
Bart maakt schilderijen met een krachtige achtergrond, soms gecombineerd met elementen op de voorgrond. Dat zijn vaak abstracte vormen gebaseerd op vormen die Bart onderweg tegenkomt. Bart geeft er vervolgens een eigen interpretatie aan. In de schilderijen zie je beweging. Alles is in beweging, wij ,de maatschappij, de natuur, en politiek. Alle materie bestaat uit energie, frequenties, vibraties en patronen.
Bart is lid van de vereniging Chaos Oss. Een broedplaats van creatievelingen die tevens maatschappelijke impact wil hebben. Door op het logo te klikken kom je op de website van Chaoss.
Van 11 juni 2026 tot en met 19 juli 2026 heeft Bart meegedaan aan de expositie Oog van Oss bij galerie K26 in Oss.
Bart werkt met acrylverf van Talens en Winsor & Newton, Cotman aquarelverf van Winsor & Newton, UniPin markers en Molotov Acryl markers. Bart werkt op canvas en op (geschept) papier. Bart werkt met stucadoorsborden, oude bankpassen, kwasten en spatels, kammen en raamwissers om mee te schilderen.

Bart’s style is best described as abstract (neo)-expressionism, occasionally incorporating elements of modernism. He enjoys painting in an expressive manner. While an idea or framework often serves as the starting point, the actual execution—the way the painting takes shape—emerges spontaneously. This affords him the freedom to create from within, discovering the joy of making art, honing his skills, and mastering the craft anew. It is a process of seeking innovation and venturing into uncharted territory.
Bart creates paintings featuring powerful backgrounds, sometimes combined with stylized foreground elements. These elements are often abstract shapes inspired by forms he encounters in his daily life, which he then interprets in his own unique way.You see movement in the paintings. Everything is in motion—us, society, nature, and politics. All matter consists of energy, frequencies, vibrations, and patterns.
Bart is a member of the Chaos Oss association, a creative hub that aims to make a social impact. You can visit the website by clicking on the logo. From June 11, 2026, to July 19, 2026, Bart participated in the *Oog van Oss* exhibition at the K26 gallery in Oss.
Bart works with Talens and Winsor & Newton acrylic paints, Winsor & Newton Cotman watercolors, UniPin markers, and Molotow acrylic markers. He works on canvas and (handmade deckle edged) paper. For painting, he uses plastering hawks, old bank cards, brushes and palette knives, combs, and squeegees.
